MUSICIANS

Angela Ai (W'91)
http://www.angelaai.com
Angela Ai is a singer/songwriter and actress born and raised in Columbus, Ohio – now based in New York with her husband, Ferdinand Poon (Wharton ’91). She is currently performing in the 1st National Tour of the Tony-award winning Broadway musical “Avenue Q” which is now playing at the Ahmanson Theater in downtown Los Angeles through October 14th. Angela was a proud member of Penn’s jazz acapella group, Counterparts, and involved in several musical productions put on by Quadramics & Penn Players. More on http://www.angelaai.com

Ananda Sen (C'98)
In June 2007, Ananda Sen started an ambitious project in which he is releasing, free for download, one new song every week for 52 weeks at his website, www.anandamusic.com. This year of free music is an experiment in one possible new direction of the music industry, where musical content is released on an episodic basis, akin to weekly sitcoms and magazines. Working with Ananda are Sami Feldman on guitar, Aaron Suplizio on bass guitar, Bradley Haag on keyboard, and Sim Grewall on drums. When not frantically writing and recording, Ananda and crew play gigs in and around Los Angeles.

From Hollywood and Highland to Venice Beach, Moving Picture Show can be found crashing around Los Angeles with their marching band and performing inside such clubs as The Troubadour, The Silverlake Lounge, and Spaceland.
